A runner down my stocking;
oh sheesh a brand new pair !
Is enough to send me to my shrink
and crying in despair.

And what about my Mother ?
oh man, she has some gall
to tell me I am touchy
I AM FINE I TELL YOU ALL !

I know my boss she hates me
I can see it in her eyes
cuz when she says I do great work
It feels just like a lie.

My hubby never loved me
Although he say's "Not True!"
Cause if he really felt that way
Why would I feel so blue?

Every since I flushed the smokes
My nerves have been a mess
of muddled-up ideas and thoughts
and feelings of unrest.

And the nicodemon laughs
at all my silly notions
and tries to get me back on pack
by playing with my frail emotions.

And about the time he almost wins
and he thinks that he is lord
I get a sudden wake up kick
by coming to the board.

Ah yes, it is reality
that cigarettes will kill ya
They are not your friend ; they never were !
So take what life may deal ya.

For any fogey down in Blairsville
will tell you night or day
that nicodemon gets much weaker
if in the town you stay.

So here I am this morning
and I am staying with my quit
and read a little gossip
and visit just a bit.

So if you want to quit the weed
if you're over smoking pee
