A three month celebration

It started about noon one day
When I finished my last pack
And after putting on a patch
I decided never to look back

Thank goodness my wife joined me
On this mission not to smoke
And with all the money we would save
We just never could be broke

After a week of hell
I posted my first time
And angels came out of the woodwork
To tell me I was fine

Everything I went through
All of them had seen
Some even more than once
They knew where I had been

I want to thank everyone
Who’s helped me in the past
Because now I’ll never smoke again
I’m sure it will last

To all of you in Blairsville
May life be the best to you
No matter what you think or say
You really know what to do

Helping all who come here
In times of ‘their’ own need
With all of the support and love here
I’m sure we’ll all succeed.
